Manganese Tetraoxide (Mn₃O₄) is a mixed-valence manganese oxide commonly used in batteries, catalysts, and as a precursor in chemical production. It exhibits both manganese(II) and manganese(III) oxidation states, making it useful in electrochemical applications. Mn₃O₄ also serves in the production of specialty ceramics and pigments.
